Terms of Service

Version 1.0. Last updated 23 June 2026.

The short version

Orabo helps you plan, prepare for, and document your move to study, work, or migrate abroad. We are a software platform, not a law firm, and the documents and assessments our tools produce are drafts to work from, not legal advice or guaranteed outcomes. You keep ownership of everything you upload, and you are responsible for the truth of what you tell us. Most one-off purchases are non-refundable once your document has been delivered, and the Pro subscription is $12 a month and cancellable any time. We limit our liability, we apply Delaware law, and we will always try to sort out a problem informally first. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hello@orabo.app and a real person will reply.

1. About these Terms and who we are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and the company that runs Orabo:

Oraboss Technologies LLC
8 The Green, Suite B
Dover, DE 19901
United States

In these Terms, "Orabo", "we", "us", and "our" mean Oraboss Technologies LLC, which operates the Orabo platform at orabo.app. "You" means the person using the platform. These Terms govern your use of all Orabo tools and services, whether you are on the free tools, a paid one-off tool, or the Pro subscription.

By creating an account or using any part of Orabo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. For questions about the contract, write to hello@orabo.app. For questions about your data, write to privacy@orabo.app, and see our Privacy Policy.

2. What Orabo is, and what it is not

Orabo is an AI-powered migration-planning platform. It helps you understand visa pathways, generate petition and application documents, assess your eligibility, and prepare for immigration processes across the USA, Canada, the UK, and Europe. Our tools draw on publicly available criteria published by agencies such as USCIS, UKVI, and IRCC, and they use AI to turn the information you provide into useful drafts and assessments.

Here is the part that matters most. Orabo is not a law firm, an immigration consultancy, or a licensed legal service. The documents our tools produce are drafts, and the assessments they produce are informational estimates. They are a starting point, not a filing, and they do not constitute legal advice. We strongly encourage you to have a licensed immigration attorney review anything you intend to submit to a government agency.

ORABO DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR A LICENSED IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY. NO LAWYER-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP IS CREATED BY YOUR USE OF THIS PLATFORM.

We do not represent you before any immigration authority, we do not file anything on your behalf, and we make no promise about whether any petition, visa, or application will be approved.

3. Eligibility and account creation

To use Orabo you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your own country if that is higher. The service is not intended for anyone younger, and we do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts.

When you register, you agree to give accurate information and to keep your account details up to date. Each account is for one person. You must not share your login credentials, and you are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

We may suspend or close an account if there is a material breach of these Terms, including fraud, abuse of the platform, payment disputes raised in bad faith, or repeated violations. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

4. Your inputs and uploaded documents

You own everything you upload to Orabo, including your CV, your supporting evidence, and the answers you type into our tools. Using the platform does not transfer that ownership to us.

By uploading a document or submitting an answer, you grant us a limited licence to process that material for one purpose only: generating the output you have asked for. Nothing more. We do not sell your inputs to third parties, and we do not use them to train AI models. Your inputs are processed through Anthropic's API under the retention terms described in our Privacy Policy, which currently means a retention window of up to 30 days for safety monitoring, with no model training on your data.

You are responsible for the truth of what you give us. When you submit credentials, achievements, employment history, qualifications, or any other factual claim, you confirm that it is true and accurate. Our tools build outputs from exactly what you provide. If you provide false or misleading information, the consequences are yours, not ours, and those consequences can be serious, including visa denials, requests for evidence, findings of misrepresentation, and bars on future applications.

IF YOU TELL US YOU HAVE A PHD AND YOU DO NOT, WE WILL WRITE A PETITION THAT SAYS YOU HAVE A PHD, AND THAT IS ON YOU, NOT ON ORABO.

Please do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, and please do not upload other people's personal data without their permission.

5. AI-generated outputs

The documents and assessments Orabo produces are drafts, not final filings. You are responsible for reading them carefully, checking them for accuracy, and adapting them to your own situation before you send anything to a government agency or any other party.

We do not guarantee that any petition, visa, or application prepared with our tools will be approved. Immigration decisions rest entirely with the relevant authority, and many factors are outside our control and yours.

AI outputs can contain errors, omissions, or information that has gone out of date since it was published. You should always verify the substance against current official sources, such as uscis.gov, gov.uk, and canada.ca, and, where the stakes warrant it, with a qualified attorney. Once an output has been generated and delivered to you, it is non-refundable, as set out in section 7.

6. Payments and pricing

Prices on Orabo are shown in US dollars. Your bank or card provider, working through our payment processor, may convert that amount into your local currency at their own rate.

Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number. When you pay, you authorise the charge and you agree to Stripe's own terms for the transaction.

We offer two kinds of purchase. The Pro subscription costs $12 per month, renews automatically each month, and can be cancelled at any time from your dashboard. One-off tool purchases are priced individually, and the price is always shown to you before you pay.

Currency conversion fees, bank charges, and any losses from exchange-rate movement are your responsibility, not ours. If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute, we may disable your account and revoke access to any AI outputs already delivered to you while the dispute is investigated. We would always rather you contacted us first so we can put things right.

7. Refunds

For one-off tool purchases, the rule is simple: once the AI output has been generated and delivered to you, the purchase is non-refundable, because the work has been done and the result is yours. If a genuine technical failure stops your document from being delivered, you can ask for a refund within 7 days by emailing hello@orabo.app, and we will sort it out.

For the Pro subscription, you can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and we do not issue prorated refunds for the unused part of a month.

Refund decisions sit with us and we make them in good faith. Where you paid but the tool genuinely failed to deliver, we refund as a matter of course. Where the request is because you did not like the output, or you changed your mind after it was delivered, we will decline it. We try to be fair, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about a refund.

8. Acceptable use

Orabo is here to help you, and we ask that you use it honestly. You agree that you will not:

If we find an account being used for any of these activities, we may suspend or close it without a refund.

9. Intellectual property

We own the Orabo platform itself: the software, the tool prompts, the source code, the design, and the brand assets. Using the service does not give you any rights to those.

You keep the rights to your own inputs, as described in section 4, and to the AI outputs we generate for you, as described in section 5, subject to the limited processing licence you grant us. In other words, your documents are yours to use, and our platform is ours.

The Orabo name and word mark, and the phrase "Japa is a dream. We help you plan it, verify it, and live it.", are trademarks of Oraboss Technologies LLC. Please do not use them without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers and limitations of liability

Orabo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work hard to keep it accurate, useful, and online, but we cannot promise it will always be perfect, uninterrupted, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not liable for immigration outcomes of any kind. That includes visa denials, requests for evidence, decisions by USCIS, UKVI, IRCC, or any other authority, lost opportunities, missed deadlines, or any consequential or indirect loss that follows from your use of the platform.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF ORABO IS CAPPED AT THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100) OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Where that is the case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

11. Regional considerations

Orabo is used across many countries, and we treat every region with equal seriousness. The notes below acknowledge the local laws that may apply to you. Where your local consumer-protection or data law gives you rights that these Terms do not, those rights are not taken away by anything written here.

11.1 Nigeria

If you are in Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 applies to how your data is handled, and the rights in our Privacy Policy apply to you. For any contract dispute, you and we both acknowledge that Delaware law governs these Terms, but that informal resolution should always be attempted first.

11.2 Kenya

If you are in Kenya, the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 applies to your data, and your local consumer-protection laws may grant you additional rights that these Terms do not override.

11.3 Ghana

If you are in Ghana, the Ghana Data Protection Act 2012 applies to your data, and your local consumer-protection laws may grant you additional rights that these Terms do not override.

11.4 South Africa

If you are in South Africa, the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) applies to your data, and your local consumer-protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, may grant you additional rights that these Terms do not override.

11.5 Cameroon

If you are in Cameroon, local data-protection and consumer laws may grant you additional rights that these Terms do not override.

11.6 United States, United Kingdom, and European Union

If you are in the United States, the United Kingdom, or the European Union, these Terms are governed by Delaware law as set out in section 12. Your local consumer-protection and data-protection laws continue to apply where they grant you mandatory rights.

11.7 Brazil

If you are in Brazil, the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) applies to your data, and contract disputes are governed by Delaware law, subject to any mandatory local consumer rights.

12. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Before anyone escalates a dispute, we ask that you first email hello@orabo.app so we can try to resolve it informally. Most problems can be sorted out this way, quickly and without cost.

If informal resolution does not work and you are a user in the United States, you agree that any dispute will be settled by binding arbitration in Delaware, and you and we both waive the right to bring or take part in a class action. If you are a user outside the United States, the same governing law applies, but we acknowledge that the mandatory consumer laws of your own country may give you rights that override parts of these Terms.

Here is some honest real talk. We know that for a small claim, formal cross-border enforcement is impractical and expensive for everyone, wherever you live. So regardless of the strict legal position, our genuine commitment is to resolve disputes informally and in good faith. If something has gone wrong, tell us, and we will do our best to make it right.

13. Changes to these Terms, and contact

We may update these Terms as the product and the law evolve. When we make a material change, we will announce it by email and through a notice in your dashboard. If you keep using Orabo after a change takes effect, that counts as accepting the updated Terms.

These Terms are drafted in good faith by Orabo's founder team. They are written in plain English so you can actually read them, and they reflect how we genuinely intend to treat you. They have not yet been reviewed by qualified counsel, and they will be reviewed by counsel before any major fundraise or enterprise agreement.
